Is this everyday? I don't know what it is...?

I haven't gotten my period since May. About a week and a half ago, I started getting a unlit reddish/brownish discharge. I know I'm not pregnant and I'm 17 if that helps any...does anyone know what this might be or if it's normal?

Answers:    It is interval delay for some reason. Like your uterus is trying to overcome some problems and own a period.
Reasons could be the following:
1. pregnancy (pregnancy tests will discover);
2. reaction to stress, infection, emotional situations, medication, inflammation of genital organs, etc. (evaluate your life);
3. wrong use of hormones (including pills);
4. dramatic weight transmute (during short period);
5. menstrual disorder called oligomenorrhea (duration of the cycle more than 40 days, it could be treated in oodles cases with birth control pills but better to visit your doctor)

if you exercise a lot or are really thin, you may of late have a low amount of body fat cause you to not have your period. If you are beneath a lot of stress, that could cause you to not menstruate. I'd hang about another month and if still no period, maybe see a doctor, but until afterwards, don't worry. Do you think that bleak reddish, may have be blood
