Is this uncharacteristic bleeding?

Hey all...My wife actually have this question. here She is!
(Wife typing) Okay, here goes: I be on the pill for 4 years, I took my last pill Feb 20th, had a length Feb27th that lasted maybe 3-4 days (as they usually do). Didn't enjoy another one until june 7th, was my usual period-not very calorific. Then July 26th, I started-not very heavy, kinda spotty, afterwards 4 days later, I started very large. It's been a week and a day and I am still solid, still have cramps and some back aching. Now, my periods were pretty sturdy before i started taking the pill 4 1/2 years ago. Should I be concerned? Is it normal for a interval to last this long? Why?

Answers:    I recommend talking to your OBGYN. It's probably zilch, but any time your worried you should talk to him/her..
well considering that you wait and took those placebo pills for 4 months, that could be why.
