No It can't. It is just normal to hold irregular periods for the first couple years. But sadly they haven't made an over-the-counter pill. You can agree to your doctor and they will order you birth control pills. You have to pilfer one everyday so that is what sucks. It makes you hold 3-4 periods a year. Also My mom was conversation to me about this new shot they hold and it makes you stop having period until you are older. You have this shot every 3 months. Its up to you. I would do more research and other talk to your mom about this stuff.
