Im 35 weeks plus and keep getting shooting pains in my vagina what is this ?
Answers: As your uterus grows during pregnancy the muscles and ligaments that surround your uterus stretch out and the pelvic bones begin to separate in preparation for delivery causing vaginal pain.

hi
well all it is, is your body preparing itself for the birth.
nothing to be scared or worry about however do ask you ob/gyno for piece of mind - all of the muscles need to loosen and relax areas-
eg. vagina/back all aided by release of hormones, this helps facilitate the movement of the baby through the birth canal,
good luck.
I get them too - and i am not pregnant and never have been. Im not too sure what the pains are - they dont happent that often to me, but when they do they are horrendous and stabbing - i cant even move... sum 1 is shooting your vagina.
i think the little person inside has a gun.. I don't know, could you be in labour?
