No, that's just a myth.When you're sleeping, the bra doesn't affect your breasts anymore than it does when you're awake. If a bra was going to endow with you cancer, it would do it no matter when you wore it!
I have slept within a sports bra for years. I think it is more comfortable, especially if you have larger breasts, and if someone comes to your door unpaid at night or you have to disappear (my dorm has nighttime fire drills ALL the time!), you won't have to verbs about being adjectives bouncy!

Don't you think that for a diesease they know amazingly little about, they would work endlessly light of day and night to find this connection between compression/support of the breasts during sleep and breast cancer?
1 surrounded by 10 Australian women contract breast cancer sometime during their lives. it is not something to be joked about or taken insubstantially... and is certainly not something to be connected in ANY WAY near wearing a bra during sleep.
Come on, this is common sense... but I've heard that myth too... also that wearing underpants at hours of darkness gives you thrush
... i do both and I'm cancer and thrush free, and have be for years (well ive been doing it for... 3 and a half years, im 16 now) (touch wood!!)
i conjecture that after years it can eventually, MAYBE, cause cancer, but only if ur bras hold alot wireing underneath. personally, i cant sleep with a bra on, i find it method to uncomfortable.
