I have been on dianette pill for 7 years now should I come off it?

Answers:    I've been on them for about 6 months now, I've spoken at length with my doctor and read the details of the drug. It's advised after 10 years you should change contraceptive pills, or better to stop altogether, in order to reduce the risk of cancer.
So it's up to you, go speak to your GP about options..
I was on dianette for about the same length of time but it is supposed to be a harsher pill than some. I was switched to one called Yasmin which is much safer and gentler and does the very same thing, so I would recommend you ask your doc about that one. Also, it depends on your age though. If your not having any problems with taking the pill keep taking it but if you feel like you must go off talk with your doctor.
Dianette? It's usually not very good to take pills for long periods of time like that.
