I have an adult daughter who has a high risk pregnancy and would like info about my FMLA rights?

Answers:    she needs to get FMLA papers from HR at her job. your daughter needs to get a note from a doctor stating that she needs reduced hours or she cant work at all !!..FMLA gives you 12 weeks a year for medical issues regarding yourself or family members.. you can take these 12 weeks all at once or hourly ..daily or weekly... as long as you have doctors consent. DO NOT LET her employer interfere with this. all employers hate FMLA and try to tell employees that they cant take it or are not eligible or some other crap.. They just want you at work .. But remember ..FMLA is a federal law and supercedes all employer laws... If ,.. for instance you take 12 weeks at one time ... once you go back to work they have to give you your same job back at the same rate of pay or a similar job with the same rate of pay.. Also you CANNOT be fired or mistreated in any way once you go back ..IF this happens threaten a law suit.! Google FMLA .. This law will help your daughter alot ! Hope this helps. :).
