I GET MY PERIOD TWICE A MONTH ON THE 13 AND AGAIN ON THE 29 IS THAT NORMAL? IT LASTS ABOUT 5 DAYS EACH TIME?
Answers: No. But I lived my whole adult life that way until I went through menopause. I had several tests done by different ob/gyns trying to figure out what was causing it, but none of them found a cause. I feel for you.
Oh, but I was still able to get pregnant. I have three children and all three pregnancies were easy and my kids are all healthy. Just in case you were worried about not being able to get pregnant. (A couple of my doctors did the tests simply because they couldn't understand how I could have two full periods each month yet still be able to conceive.).
When i was 16 my periods started messing up i went months without having 1 then 6months out the year i'd have 2 a month that lasted 5days each time, i went 2 the doc's & he kept saying nothing was wrong with me so i just put it with it, then when i turned 21 i went back 2 the doc's & they sent me 2 the hospital 4 a scan there they told me i had a cyst on my ovaries but it went away on it's own. I'm now 26 & have been trying 4 a baby 4 a few yrs now so i went back 2 the doc's & that's when he told me that i have got PCOS (polycystic ovaries). I don't know how long iv had it whether it started when i was 16 i don't know!
So my advise 2 u is please get it check out, if the doc says nothing is wrong go see another doc make sure, get them 2 do u a blood test check your hormone levels & maybe a thyroid test as it could be a number of things but it's NOT normal 2 have 2 periods in a month
I do hope everything is ok with u.x.
I do not think this is particularly normal. It means that you only have about 10 days between periods. i dont think this is normal. most women have it once a month. and lasts about 5days at a time aswell. x.
no that is not normal. u must see a doctor and hav them check it out
