How long does it appropriate to become and OB/GYN?

I am 16 and i hope to become and OB/GYN. How long will this take? What should i expect in this corral of work? What are some good schools for this?

4 years of residency
4 years of medical school
4 years of regular school
its gonna pinch a while..
It will take years. You have to walk through all the basics for a doctor and afterwards start your specialty. So, it's about 9 or 10 years of college. My friend went to UC Davis and loved it (she's an OB/GYN) Years...pre-med undergrad, after years of medical school plus your internship. Takes long hours of studying and having no time. Good medical school is Johns Hopkins..
You get compensated while you're an intern/resident, but not much... only around $40,000 a year. Of course, when you're done and [hopefully] a good doctor, you'll be getting compensated at least $150,000/year.
