How long after sex would one be able to take a pregnancy test that will be correct?
Answers: wen i thought i was preg i missed my period my 4days i took a test it was neg but a week after dat my period still adnt come so i took another an sure enuff it was positive so went to docs a few days later just to comfirm n now i av a beautiful boy so anyway take da test at least a week after a missed period :).
after you miss your period is the best time to get a correct result and sometimes its not right then. I took one then and I got an neg result. I didn't get a positive and one until I was 7 weeks pregnant. But I know I was pregnant the whole time. Wait a week for quick results. You take one the day after intercourse and are thrilled with the "negative" result...but that's not enough time for everything to register in you to give you accurate results..
I think you have to wait until your next period is due. There are ones that can tell you up to 4 days before your period is due but I don't know if I would trust it to accurate. Good luck with it though. Hope I helped :) Wait exactly 15 days after your next due date that you are supposed to get your period. In other words, wait to skip your period and after 10 days you get an accurate answer..
i would say about 5 or 4 days before period. they make the test now that you can test before your period and they do work i know from experience 4 days before i was due to start if u were actually pregnant it would take weeks to register on a test
the egg has to reach the sperm an all that jazz before u can become pregnant
as if u didnt learn that in sex ed.
5 days b4 ur period girl!! one of my good girlfriends took one a few days before her period and she was clear!! phew!! no need to have an abortion now that's what I told her! after your missed period. or 2 weeks after the sex if you go to the doctors and get a blood test.
soemtimes it even takes 3-5 days to get pregnant so maybe a week?
