How do I carry rid of these cut-throat bumps along my bikini file?
Answers: For a shaving gel, I use Aveeno Positively Smooth, and it works fabulously (although I usually wax my bikini line instead of shaving, because the results last longer). Make sure your cut-throat is sharp, and keep it santized if you can - store it in a cup of alcohol or (gasp!) vodka to destroy bacteria that can contribute to razor bumps. And anything you do, leave the bumps alone!
To exfoliate, you can:
- use a loofah or bath brush to slough past its sell-by date dead skin
- or, mix salt or sugar near a gentle body wash and scrub beside your hands or a washcloth.
Cool washcloth on the bumps.
I have found a couple secret for eliminating razor burn.
1. Use a strange razor every time. Don't shave your legs first.
2. Shave in like peas in a pod direction of the hair... so downward.
3. Don't go over and over impossible to tell apart spot a million times. The razor should not scrape the skin more than once or twice tops.
