How big is to big of a menstral blood clot? why is this scheduled?
Answers: Hey in that! So I'm thinking it pretty obvious when it comes to any kind of bleeding it can be upsetting. BUT we're going thru the same thing!! (exciting right!) i've be soaking thru pads for months maybe almost a year but couldnt return with to the DR cause i had no insurance. I know what its similar to to bleed thru a pad during the night or have to wake up in the middle of the darkness cause you can feel a clot coming out...it so gross, i know. So what my Dr told me is they 1st inevitability to get my period regulated. By doing this 1st she put me on some features of hormon pill, i take that for 10 days then I start taking birth control pills. I pinch these for a few months and that should regulate everything. I asked her about the clots and she explained it just manner your bleeding alot.
So to explain clots (which freaked me out when I 1st started having them)
Clots
When menstrual bleeding is heavy, clotting can also materialize. Losing large clots can be extremely upsetting and even painful if they are voluminous because they can cause cramping as they pass through the cervix. There is a simple explanation as to why these massive clots are formed. All blood contains a clotting factor. To enable menstrual blood to flow freely from the uterus (womb) and leave your body minus clotting, the uterus produces an anti-clotting agent. But if the menstrual loss is heavy, it is possible that the anti-clotting agent will be used up before a time of year has finished, so that the remaining blood is likely to form clots.
I own endomentriosis and started bleeding hefty is that a discouraging sign?
http://www.youngwomenshealth.org/menstru...*When Should You Be Concerned About Menstrual Blood Clots
These are some of the signs that you should speak with your doctor about menstrual blood clots.
* You own been passing blood clots for more than a daytime.
* The blood clots are large, bigger than a quarter.
So, menstrual blood clots are usually a normal portion of some women's menstrual cycle. But it's important to know when menstrual blood clots are a cause for concern, and to make conversation to your doctor if you believe menstrual blood clots are a sign that you have a more serious condition.
Well it sounds like you might enjoy endometriosis, or something, but you really need to get checked out, the blood mortal that much is not good under any circumstance, and neither is the clotting,
How do you know if u lose your virginity?
my mom told me that once she have a big one like that... but it was after she have my brother, and the nurse said it was normal.Nice bodys dont work for a girl?
I own a dick I wouldn't kno.I have had some similar problems. I enjoy a few different severe uterine conditions and have been on adjectives different types of birth control pills (don't worry, I'm not going to say that you own the problems i have. haha. just giving you a point of reference) I be on birth control pills to stop from having my period completely and from time to time would enjoy some spotting. Then suddenly, I started bleeding and didn't stop for 7 months..it was absolutely ridiculous! Sometimes it be extremely heavy and sometimes it was lantern, but either way it be insane. My doctor switched me to Yaz also, and decided that my other pill had stopped man effective. A few weeks after I started, my period regulated itself finally. It took over a month though, so sway in there. But I would hold your doctor just check to be sure that you aren't hemorrhaging. If you are not, then adjectives of this bleeding is actually considered kind of regular and is not dangerous. They couldn't give me a WHY, but they assured me I be ok. You just want to make sure that you maintain up on your iron because you are losing so much blood. I started taking some supplements. I also used to have very immense blood clots and really heavy bleeding. Never one the size of my palm, but one the size of..uhh, the body of a Pez dispenser (weird example, i know). Do you also have severe cramps. I would suggest looking up endometriosis and ask your feminine relatives if they have experienced similar problems. I had surgery and hold been treated for my endometriosis and it is pretty much under control. I would budge back and check with your doctor to clear sure he doesn't think there is a problem. Give the bc a few weeks to see in, and keep experimenting next to pills if one doesn't work. Hopefully you can find some hormones that regulate your cycle. Best wishes.
Oh my..I'm an OB nurse.if any of our patients are soaking more than a pad an hour, we consider that a hemmorhage.BIG time! Girl you need to attain this bleeding under control quick. The origin you are having the big clot is because the blood is pooling inside of your uterus and/or vagina and then coming out surrounded by one big slosh. The clot is a good sign that your clotting factors and platelets are still perfect, however, the fact that you are bleeding so much isnt.
Get to a doc as soon as you can. If not, go the ER. Anymore than a wad an hour (like a good soaked pad to be precise heavy and could be wrung out) is wayyyyyy too much!
Before you know it, you'll feel bland and shakey and get a metallic taste contained by your mouth. This is low iron and hemoglobin. Since you've lost so much blood, once you get to a doctor and get this below control, get on some good iron pills and chomp through some red meat/spinach/anything high in iron for a few weeks.
Sounds similar to you may have some sort of problem in your uterus if things hold been wonky with your period. Are they accompanied by a lot of torment? This can mean polyps or endometriosis. Are you in your child deportment years? Close to menopause? All of these play a role in bleeding of the uterus disorders.
