I haven't used a wad in over 15 years, so IMO, tampons are much much better. There are several different types/sizes out there, so you'd know how to choose one that is comfortable for your body. I'd suggest one of the sport ones, or the silk glide ones, within regular (not super or super plus). You'll still want to use a panty liner until you learn more about your body and your flow, and have a feeling comfortable enough to know when it's time to change it. I focus you should definitely give tampons a try. They are nontoxic. Don't wear them at night though, use the pads at hours of darkness. Email me if you have any other questions. Putting surrounded by a tampon may be a bit uncomfortable at first, but eventually it won't hurt. As far as tampons vs. pads... A lot of women reckon tampons are better because you can't feel them, they keep the blood away from your body, and you can swim and do any amusement with them. However, there are some serious cons to tampon usage. For example, tampons dry you out inside/upset your colloquial ph balance. They can cause small tears inside your vagina (particularly if you are dry) which leaves you start to infections, like Toxic Shock Syndrome. They are bleached with chlorine bleach which have a dangerous chemical biproduct called dioxin, which isn't devout for you. I'm not saying you shouldn't use tampons, but you should just be aware of their downsides. I still use them, but am looking into alternatives.i used to be upset. try tampax pearl or tampax/playtex sport(id if its playtex or tampax..the black box with the green tampon lol). but those are the most comfy and they dont hurt cuz theyre plastic. cardboard hrtus really bad i cant even take it in. but when you take it out put you leg on the tub/toilet or it hurts me if its not adjectives the way used up. theyll hurt if you dont use them for 3 or 4 hours at least. theyre faster than pad, they dont make you smell, you can go to the shoreline with them, theyre more comfy (you cant feel them), i be aware of more confortabel in short skirts and shorts with them surrounded by.get them and if you dont like them after, dont use them anymore. but trying couldnt backing!

Personally, I think they're better than pads. After a few times wearing them, you won't catch sight of them there at all! =] It's resembling you don't have your period. :P
Since you're only just starting though, try to get a smaller type of tampon, a low absorbancy one.
Remember though: don't leave it on for more than 8 hours. Might lead to TSS, Toxic Shock Syndrome, but it's rare.
And I wondered about this examine before: if the tampon will get lost contained by there somehow? But the answer is no, because it will grip and no matter how you move or anything, it won't ever grasp lost.
And lastly, this is just my opinion, but Playtex is my favorite.

Don't even verbs, it's a bit nerve-racking the first time! Just relax and everything will go smoothly, literally. Back when I first tried using one I was really concerned and thought it would hurt, but there's nothing to worry going on for. It just takes a few times. The pros are no mess, no stress. I haven't tried to use tampons yet and, but I am going to try to buy some beside my friends this summer...Lol, my mom and your mom must be twins...My mom isn't like one of these moms that you see on tv where you can only just tell them all of your problems...Ok, so, my friend said that the tampon didn't really hurt...it's approaching if you have a nosebleed and you stick some kleenex up your nose. You can get really small tampons to start with, approaching Tampax Sport. It might feel slightly uncomfortable at first but you procure used to to it, but if it hurts then i wouldn't try it again for awhile. My 11 year old newly insisted she use tampons so I let her try and she has be using them since with no problems. But do some google searches on how to undamagingly insert and change them so you will be informed.Everything smeels potent and make me nausea..whats wrong?
dont worry, u will bring use to it. I was scared to use them at first too and it be uncomfortable until you use them more and are use to them. There is a string attached, so it won't get lost..and they are great to own because you can still go in the pool or to the seaside...you cant really do that with a pad. They spawn thinner ones, I would start out with that first.Hope I helped!

i be scared too when i first useda tampon but its soo much better than a pad, when you use a wad you feel all disguting and dirty but when you hold atampon in you cant feel anything, it does not hurt at allll!! i promise, plus, if you use a tampon you can wear thongs and stuff liek thatI be the same way formerly I started wearing tampons. just go to the store buy a box of playtex skim or tampon pearl and make sure its plastic before you buy b/c cardboard hurts! when you get hold of home read the instructions, take a deep breath, find your hole and insert. its not that unyielding and it doesnt hurt. just make sure you find regular.

i like to use tampons because ive used them for a long long time and i can put one in contained by about 2 seconds. you should be startled to use one you eventually learn how to insert one cerrectly. its super easy and you dont consistency it at all!If your a virgin. Is fingering discouraging?
