Yes, your period can get liberal of whacked out the first couple of months you are on the pill. However, if you are bleeding heavily (not just "spotting) you may want to call your doc and check near her about it. She may suggest Iron supplements so you don't become anemic.

If it's just restrained bleeding it's probably nothing to worry in the order of, but if it continues into your third month of BC, call your doctor to make sure the BC you're on is right for you.
