Healthy..or not?

5'6'', weigh 167 lbs.
been trying to lose weight, gain instead..here is what i've eaten today:

breakfast: [yes i know, not the healthiest]
small slice of lemon cake
salad
3 crackers with cream cheese & preserve

lunch: half of a chicken burger & 1/4 taco salad
2 mini kitkat bars

dinner: partially of the chicken burger, half of an apple,

snack: maybe 15 jellybeans & 1/4 piece wheat tortilla [25 cals] next to tuna salad in it.

in count, i walked for about an hour [at a speed of give or take a few 4mi/h & shot hoops for about 15 minutes]

how does this sound, and how can i increase?

the chicken burger was on a whole wheat bun :)
and also, i've hear speed walking can burn more cals since i can't run for too long nonstop.

Woman...?

ok. lemon cake has greatly of sugar, and saturated fats.
the salad im guessing you put dressing on it, and most dressings are notably fattening.
cream cheese is reeeally fattening unless you got nonfat.

burgers in nonspecific arent good especially if you put mayo, cheese, or any dressings on it. but thats good you it be chicken (not fried, no skin) and on a wheat bun.

taco salad: from the taco salads i have had i can read out they aren't healthy.
kit kat bar, high in calories and margarine and sugars.

jelly beans : high in sugars and calories.

the tuna salad could possibly be the worst entry you ate because it is mayonaise based.

that's great that you ate an apple and a whole wheat bun and exercised but if you want alteration you will have to drastically change your diet. here are some makeshift tips that i lost 30 pounds in 2 months and a week doing.

i have lost weightiness eating healthy and exercising regularly. the instrument i combated the sugar cravings and feeling guilty is i ate extremely good sunday - thursday, and friday and saturday i ate doesn`t matter what i wanted. that doesn't mean i go out of my way to eat fruitless, but if i felt like rime cream or whateva i would eat it. i worked out at least 3 times a week, resistance training (weight lifting, which is the best for oil loss because muscle eats fat) and i would run at my college track at least 2 miles, whether i run or jogged or walked i did the 2 miles.

ingestion healthy consists of

Whole grains (pasta, cereal, bread) i munch through shredded wheat n bran with non fat milk, its the healthiest breakfast leeway i have found. whole crumb pasta is good with newmans own marinara sauce, it taste good and is healthy.

Fruits (plums, mango, kiwi, apples, grapes) take home it fun and get new fruit that taste good.

Veggies (avocado, tomato) pack these on a sandwich (no cheese it has elegant carbs and a lot of saturated fat). i bring back cans of veggies so if i am feeling similar to eating something bad i start up the can of veggies and eat it real sudden and i just ate something good instead of something unpromising and im not hungry anymore.

Lean meats and fish (chicken, turkey, salmon, tuna) not fried, no skin.

Dairy (nonfat milk, nonfat cottage cheese) dairy can be tricky because if you're not careful you can consume greatly of saturated fats. eggs for example contain like mad of saturated fats and cholesterol within the yolk. i will just cook the white part and manufacture a sandwich out of it.

you are supposed to get 32g of dietary fiber a day and along beside protein is essential for weight loss. on like a box of shredded wheat n bran it will right to be heard there is 8g per serving, look above that where it say servings per container for example if it said 2, there would be 16g in the undamaged box (theres more im just making an example). also look for low sugars, unless it is fruit you probably don't want foods high contained by sugar. be careful of too much sodium as well. and most of adjectives saturated fats. some fat are good and healthy, monosaturated fat, and polyunsaturated fats are good for you, however similar to anything else, you dont want to overdo it.

also exercise and drink 64oz of water a day, is the recommended intake of an involved person. make exercise fun, shift swimming, skateboarding, play basketball, go to the gym. for every pound of muscle you gain that pound of muscle eats 50 more calories a hours of daylight just to stay alive, without doing anything.

by the means of access i didnt count calories i just made sure everything i ate those 5 days a week was of those things i only mentioned, whole grains, fruits, veggies, lean meat, or non fat dairy. and "if it tastes too well-mannered to be true, it probably is". simple foods are best.

im majoring in nutrition so if you have any more question please e mail me.
