I recently got stale of my birth control pills (ortho-tri-cyclen-lo) after taking them for 3 and a half years. I took the first 5 pill in the strange pack and then quit taking them all together. When I be taking them regularly and forgot a pill or two in a row I would spot. One time I even got my extent for two weeks mid-cycle!!:( So, my question is, has anyone done this, stopped contained by the middle of the pack, and not had any spotting or period. Do you cogitate that maybe because I stopped in the first week that I didn't embezzle enough pills to make me spot when I stopped taking them. Thanks

Answers:    I'm not sure if this answers your interview but I was on Ortho-Tricylin (the normal one) for two years and later stopped and I didn't get a period for over two months. My doctor said it be normal because your body is used to being controlled by the pill. In certainty I was relieved because it was summer and I wasn't have sex so there was no verbs of being pregnant.

Nonetheless, I THINK you are asking if going off the pill can stop you from getting a extent - and yes it can. In some cases it can cause you to spot too... it really depends on the person regrettably.
