First time tampon user? what concerned do you suggest?
Answers: The tampax pearl lites, and playtex gentle glide. They both own plastic applicators too. Get them in light if you can, or environment for your first times. If you need heavier ones, get them, but start out low. And be sure to read the directions that come near all the tampon boxes, they're for people beside your question too :).
I used mini tampax ones. Which helped me because they be smaller and made inserting the tampon easier. When i got the hang of using them i bought some regular tampons and know i can use them really well no matter what size.
I tend to use tampons with applicators as powerfully as i find it makes it a whole lot easier inserting them.

You really want to get Slim Tampons, since they are easier to use, and make sure you catch Plastic ones, cause its way much more easier. I would recommend Tampax Pearl Compact within Lites. Tampax Pearl. They work like a dream for me. But if you do choose a different brand of tampons make sure they come beside a plastic applicator because the cardboard ones hurt like all hell!.
Gentle Glide, and slim. Dont lug them out to soon though! It hurts :S
Also, dont leave it in too long, or you could get hold of TSS. Tampax Pearl or Playtex Gentle Glide.
Use the lowest Absorbensee. (sp?)
