Does taking the pill for several years non-stop for endometriosis formulate you gain freight?
Answers:
Two question i'd a bit not ask contained by front of my sex ed class.?
Hi there,I wish I have become a doctor, cause I'm so frustrated at the lack of relief and answers from them, and I genuinely care that SO oodles women are suffering and seem to be expected to just live through it.
I feel for you.
First, yes, taking the pill can make you gain counterbalance.
More importantly, three weeks is WAY too long to be bleeding and in pain. Don't consent to your doctor tell you that you have to maintain taking it. He should have told you what to expect and how long it would take to adjust. I would without beating about the bush call that Dr. and let them know how long you enjoy been bleeding and in anguish. I would stop taking the pill, and ask for a different one. I would also try a different Dr.!!
And yes, the pill can reduce your sex drive and make you gain bulk. Dr.'s will tell you it's only 5 pounds (on average), but I muse they tend to minimize the weight gain. Note that Dr.'s get kickback for selling you certain pills! I also think they readily prescribe the pill lacking divulging the true possible side effects. For example, many women have trouble conceiving after frequent years on the pill.
I really wish I could help you explore a better solution for your endometriosis. The pill is discouraging news for many women. And I purely can't believe there aren't any options. I preference someone would really research it thoroughly. You'd think there'd be better option when 1 out of every 4 women will seize it.
I have it too, by the way. But I rebuff to take the pill.
Call your Dr., ask to speak to a nurse, and let her know what's going on. If I be you I'd stop taking it.
