Do you hold to enjoy have a kid to find an IUD put within? My ob/gyn mentioned?

it to me on time and said it may reduce my cramping. I own severe cramping every month. I have endo. He thinks It may support. What do you think?

Answers:    No, an IUD can be used in a women who have not given birth, although it can be a bit more difficult to place the IUD because the opening in the cervix of a woman who have not had a baby is for a while smaller. I have not had a infant, and my IUD placement was a bit more painful than I have anticipated. Also, there is some evidence that women who have not have a baby may be more at risk for IUD expulsion (your body pushes the device out).

There are 2 types of IUDs. I have the Paraguard, which have no hormones. I was warned that this type of IUD could front to more cramping and heavier periods, which turned out to be true. There are IUDs that have hormones surrounded by them that can help you have shorter, lighter period..
The IUD has a small chance of making you incompetent to have children so they recommend that you have at least possible one child before using an IUD. I have hear IUD's make cramps much worse.not better! My sis had one and her body in actuality cramped it out!
