I took the plan b about 3 weeks ago, and my period is due surrounded by four days..i also started taking birth control bout a month and three weeks ago, today i had some light bleeding on the tampon, intensely very bright red blood. But not very much bleeding, and one and only starts picking up at night. Is it spotting or period..i dont see it within my underwear but only on tampon.and i took HPT and its neg.

It's a run of the mill response to the hormones. If you are not bleeding much, though, consider using something other than a tampon. They are not meant for exceptionally light flow. its the birth control its working
