I am debating taking this pill for one package cycle. While on a special vacation I will own my period. My doctor put me on seasonique to avoid it on vacation. I'm wondering if this is a honest idea after reading all the unenthusiastic response about this pill. I would be going off of it after this bag runs out. I was going to start it this Sunday in August. My time off avoiding my normal period is the genesis of Oct. I wouldn't be due to get my period until Nov. Any thoughts on this would be great. Answers:    Seasonique is no different from any other pill. If you are already on the pill, you can skip your week of sugar pills and dance straight into the next month to avoid having your extent.

If you're not on the pill, you might have a reaction when you start. Many women own spotting for the first few weeks and weight gain when starting the pill (any kind or birth control pill, not merely this one). Plus remembering to take the pill at the same time every afternoon (especially if you're just starting it) might be just as much a hassle as have your period..
