Depo provera shot cross-question.bleeding for a long time?
i got the shot june 26. and roughly speaking 2 weeks after that i started bleeding. its not august 4 and im still bleeding. does this seem right? im worried.
Answers: My friend bled for almost 3 months. I, on the other hand, stopped have a period while on the shot. It affects everyone different, some will have bleeding adjectives the time, and some none at all.
EDIT: Yes, this is normal. The Doc should hold told you this. You basically have a 50% kismet of having a never ending spell, and you might gain weight, and you will lose your sex drive.
EDIT: Dont worry more or less the clots, everyone gets them. It's just bloody tissue, its a track of your body cleansing itself. If you start to get a fever, or chills, stir to the ER. Then you may be loosing too much blood..
I've had the same article happen to me.
I started my shot on the 25th and didn't bleed at all till final Tuesday.
I got so concern that I went to my doctor. She put me on the continous pill seasonale to stop the bleeding. It should relieve it. If you seize concern with the bleeding or if you are bleeding EXTREMELY I would definitely recommend you see a doctor.
I be also told if you think about it and stress out roughly speaking it it'll make things worse.
Is this your first shot? Keep in mind the shot for the first year may result in alot of spotting through the cycle. Breakthrough bleeding happens a lot so I would not verbs about it. .
yes i have friends have the same trouble. not sure exactly but i think it go on for quite some time. problem is u have to keep on till the injecton wears off. i have the implanon which is a rod implanted in your arm which i have found to be angelic and you can take it out whenever you want if you change your mind i havent have my periods for 3 months since i got it, i dont mind that. lol i bled for a year! and the doc know about it! talk around birth control!.
not 2 scare u (a) all,.but the longest i've ever hear of someone bleeding is 4 years.
