I feel your pain, I own 40DDD breasts and sometimes I'll take my bra off and hold deep indentations in my skin from the straps.

I find that using a ably made bra with thicker straps has help me quite a bit. A great deal of my dull pain was because I was wearing the wrong size of bra and a poor point one at that! You can also buy these straps at the lingerie store that connect the straps of your bra together in the back and support take some of the weight rotten your shoulders.

I also find that sitting correctly and standing correctly helped quite a bit, even though it's a easier said than done habit to get into.
