Can someone oblige me, I'm stressed roughly speaking going to the GYN
Answers: The Cervical cancer vaccine is like any other, its done in the arm, and it take two rounds. So you'll have to go final, but its soo worth it!
I was like you too. Really, its not that discouraging, just relax and breathe normally. They will try their best to cause you as comfortable as possible. The speculum (the thingy they put inside to open you up) doesn't really hurt at all! The vagina be made to stretch. Only when mine clicked to hold in place did it hurt in the LEAST. The item that hurts is when they do a scraping for your PAP smear. But really, again, worth it to make sure you're clean! If you get cramps, it won't be any worse than that!
It's minor pain for a short amount of time. Worth the benefits!.
Don't be tense. The whole thing will steal less than 5 mins. You will wear a paper top and bottom. The dr will check your breasts for lumps. You'll fib back, scoot to the end of the table and put your foot in the strirups. The dr will insert a speculum (this hurt for me the very first time at 16), later a long q-tip type thing to scrape the cell of your uterus for testing. Then the dr will insert 2 fingers into you and press down on your abdomen to check for abnormality. Some also insert a finger into your rectum, although I've had this done only 1 out of 30 times.
There will also be a nurse within the room. Remember to relax or it could make things more painful if you are tensed up.
I've never have the injection, but I'm positive it will be given in the arm or butt. .
If you have a virtuous doctor, nothing should be painful. The speculum is discomfited, but not painful. It only take a couple of minutes, and you need to relax, because getting tense will brand it more uncomfortable. And contrary to what someone else said, you can get the vaccine even if you hold had sex, after all, it is recommended for women up to age 26 and in attendance aren't that many virgins that age. It is given in the arm. I would research it on the internet back I took the shots, there have be some serious complications reported lately. You and your doctor are the ones to decide if the vaccine is for you. I know you don't want to go, but you do want to go since you are sexually active. It doesn't thieve long, and it is not painful. Tell the doctor it's your first time and that you would like her to narrate you what she's doing in advance and what it will consistency like. I can't help much near your first question, but I know you get the shot surrounded by your arm. My mom made me get it before I go off to college, but I only get the first shot. All I can say is that when I got it, I feel very sick about 2 second after they were done, and I thought I was going to be sick. Also, the joint of my shoulder were very sore, and I have to take pain killer for a few days before it went away. My sister have similar symptoms, but I don't know if it effects everyone the same way.She however get the other two shots and said that the side effects were worse, and she was physically sick for a morning, but that might have also been because she have gotten other shots. The website list the side effects as pain, swelling, itching, and glow at the injection site, fever, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and fainting. .
Ok, it really isn't so unpromising. I was the same means of access but after I had it done, it wasn't so bad. Mine didn't really even hurt but you can consistency it. Most will tell you what they're gonna do before they do it. As for the shot, it is within the arm and it goes in three different injections over a spell of 6 months. Talk to your GYN for questions. Hope this helps.
AND no, you can still take the shot even after you've had sex. I know because I did..
I mean if you own had sex before after there is nothing to be afraid of. Although I would recommend going to a mannish than a female, they are a little more meek. You will get this metal instrument inserted into the yoni and they will take a swab of your cell inside. After wards they will apply pressure to your stomach ok maybe not your stomach but you achieve my drift to check your internal organs, and that's pretty much it. In a couple of days you will get the results of your pap smear. Nothing hard or upsetting about the obgyn. You might want to do some research before getting that shot, I hear some scary things from the side affects. 1. Don't be nervous. It is OK. The speculum is unpleasant but it doesn't really hurt. Having a pap smear, where on earth they take some cells from your cervix feel odd but not painful.
2. It is too behind schedule for the injection now as you have already have sex, you need to be injected BEFORE. The injection would have be in your arm.
.
the injections in the arm. you hold to get it 3 times.
