Can anyone recommend something that will back me sleep??
Answers: I'm a psych major and we recently discussed this here's what you can try:
-Sleep on a regular calendar (go to bed and wake up as close to the same time everyday>routine develops)
-Hide the frontage of your clock, so you won't be tempted to check it
-Use a dimmer light or fragrance to assistance relax you before bed
-Drink warm milk (the serotonin within it helps facilitate sleep)
-Go to bed an hour earlier
-Do not do any strenuous physical activity/exercise/sports at night(at tiniest 2-3 hours before bed time)
-Eat a lighter dinner, try soups, rice and vegetables, lentils and salad get creative near new spices to make it spicy (heavier foods like breads, pasta, dairy, and sugary foods are harder to digest and you may wake up to travel potty during the night, aggravating your body's natural sleep schedule)
-If you chomp through chocolate (has caffeine) or drink caffeinated beverages (teas,soda,coffee..) only consume them before behind afternoon
If all else fails and your sleeping doesn't restore (true change won't happen overnight) after 2 weeks call for your doctor/talk to your school nurse also.
PILLS and ALCOHOL agitate REM (deepest) sleep. They are also very addictive and don't work over time as your Tolerance increases, departing you prone to OD/addiction (I've been there, so don't believe the hype!).
...Also their is no prompt fix solution to anything in life (that will last). That's why your diet and lifestyle contribute so much to your form, spirit and overall well being. GOOD LUCK!
.
So you already try the pills.
Try these tips:
No caffine at tiniest 8 hours before your bedtime
Not a lot of tv or computer time earlier you go to bed.
You can still have some time but not profusely.
Sleep without any light. It can distract you.
Rest your mind. Don't feel of things that worry you or are complex.
Think of something that is relaxed.
Don't eat before you move about to bed. Eating gives people life.
Hope these tips help!!
OH! Also, don't exercise after sunset.
:).
i've heard that reheat milk will help you sleep but i don't know if that's true. i tried it once, it sort of worked i think. i fell asleep an hour after. also try listen to some calming music.
an hour before you step to bed turn off all electronics resembling your comp, tv, cell etc.
try to keep light out of your room and soundproof your room.
perfect luck, i hope i helped!.
Your body cloc is just reversed. The same have been happenning to me, only it's more lice one or two ocloc. ( hey, Im ten, thats past due for me) Just try to be active and stay up in the hours of daylight, so you'll be more tired at night. Sleeping pills can worc nicely along near this strategy. i have the perfect solution merely fricken turn on the a/c run around untill your tired.. change into short and a white t shirt.. and just falsehood in bed.. how will this work??? this is how.. naturally when the human body is cold u find tired.. and because your wearing such thin clothes and when u cover yourself up with the sheets youll be melt and will feel like not moving at adjectives.
Talk to your doctor about it. there are medication for that. You could have insomnia, which maaaaany people do. Or, do some flimsy workout before bed. Like crunches and push ups, and dancing to your favorite tunes. I hold this problem a lot too,
what I do is phyiscally exhaust myself with a sport or a fun amusement during the day, that way I sleep really devout that night .
turn off your clock, even if it is your alarm. use your cell phone instead. knowing what time it is make you frustrated and that makes it harder to sleep. i went through matching thing and it worked perfectly. yeah.i do this 2..but close to i usually listen 2 my ipod or turn my t.v. on and set it on sleep so that it helps me go 2 sleep..try it..it mite minister to..
how about listening to ur mp3 player, relaxing music, sleep surrounded by complete darkness, try not to think too much. Whatever you do try everything formerly you consider medication. chamomile or valerian tea work a treat for me.
I
try putting lavender in/on your pillows. It helps you relax and will make you sleep better.
.
I thieve Valerian every night before bed. Most night I sleep OK unless I have a lot on my mind. in the past you go to sleep try going on a 30 minute run or an hour walk.
it get you drained and the minute you hit your bed you should be out!.
You could try using a eye mask to block out all pale because sometimes light can keep you up. turn to your doctor and have him perscribe you sleeping pills if it is really that bad. .

I take something call Melatonin. Its a really low dose and sort of like a herbal supplement. It helps me at lowest.

warm milk before u shift to bed Valerian drops, tablets, or tea.
Sleep opposite side of the bed. Head where foot were. Interchange the sheets to match. Maybe a current mattress is due! Take a Nyquill (sleeping pill) right before you go to bed. It works for me!
