I recently just get it...been having rotten the wall mood swings and cramping ALL THE TIME. I went back for my check up and she said that you shouldn't be cramping adjectives the time but if it worsens then call her...Why didn't she do anything just about it? Is there anything I can do/take to lessen the pain of these cramps? Also, I read that Mirena be made for people who have have kids before...I am 17 and defintely have not have a kid yet...is this safe? And will I be capable of have a normal pregnancy latter?

Answers:    I'm not sure why you're having the cramping. But, yes, many medical professionals are comfortable beside inserting IUDs into nulliparous (no births) women. It is safe. Some medical professionals just don't discern that a woman who hasn't given birth can dilate well enough to insert the IUD. You will know how to have a normal pregnancy once you enjoy the Mirena removed, yes. Some women just do not react matching as other women to certain medications/procedures. Perhaps your body just isn't digging the Mirena. Hopefully, your body will adjust soon. Best of luck to you!
