I think the trick is to find something that can become part of your rota, or, better yet, can become a *requirement* of your schedule.

So, for instance, I bike during the thaw out months. I don't buy metropasses, so I have to get on the bike to budge anywhere.

Can you bike to work? Or rollerblade? Or incorporate something active when you're playing with the kids, resembling jump ropes?
