Any suggestions for other birth control methods?
Answers: Well within are three other options you could consider:
1. The Ring (nuvaring)
2. The Patch (ortho evra patch)
3. IUD (Copper T Paragard or Mirena Levongestal)
The only hormone free one out of adjectives of them is the Paragard IUD. It has copper in it. I merely had one put in a month ago. The insertion for me wasn't a big treaty, but I did have some heavy bleeding during my interval and will be expecting it for the next two until my body adjusts to it. I cannot purloin anything with hormones in it, so this be my only option. They are right for 10 years. Down side, they are expensive. My insurance only covers pills so I had to repay for the IUD and total out of pocket for me was 600 bucks. So before you consider it net sure your insurance will help you pay for it. .
I took one shot of Depo Provera, and during the 3 months, I bled every daylight, gained 10lbs, felt completely suicidal, and it screwed up my hormones, which I am in a minute on lifelong medicines for. I will never again use any kind of birth control, except condoms. Mother Nature didn't intend for us to stop our period. I would opt to be pg, then ever take another hormone to protect me from have children. Whatever method you choose, research it fully beforehand.
Good luck. I really dont know but please find something better than what you are on now. Im 31 now but be on the depo shot when I was 17-23, stopped at 23 because I had to own emergency hysterectomy. Thank God I had kids too young or I wouldnt hold been able to hold any
