All WOMEN! ? ?

okay so i want to know if there are any warning signs for yeast infections besides discharge and itchiness- because what if you enjoy alot of discharge anyway?
also is there this supplement you can take to prevent them that you can bring at GNC-because i heard that also.
and one more thing- is it safe(have you done it, do you guess it works?) to put regular yogurt on a tampon or down there and then put it surrounded by or put on a pad and sleep in it within order to make the apposite bacteria fight against the fruitless??

thanks ladies for all your answers!! i really do appreciate it!!

Answers:    Other symptoms include twinge (especially after intercourse), general discomfort, and the discharge often looks close to cottage cheese. If you aren't sure you have one, get tested to find out. You can jump to the doctor, or there are new test strips at most stores as well (I think they are by monistat).

Acidophilus is a track to prevent yeast infections. That is the live active culture in yogurt. Eat it on a daily basis. You can also get supplement tablets at health food stores. Other preventative methods include wearing cotton underwear (it allows things to breathe a bit), varying out of wet clothes or swimsuits immediately, and avoiding too much sugar. Make sure you wipe front to vertebrae, and never douche.

If you are having a lot of yeast infections, you should dance to the doctor. It could be a sign of a more serious condition (such as diabetes)..
Having too many yeast infections can be a sign of diabetes. You may need to see your doctor soon.

DO NOT put the yogurt "down there". It merely helps by eatting it.
