I am slightly overweight, but my waist measurements is increasing. I am wondering if it could be ovarian cancer or some other disease that causes the stomach to expand in comparison to the rest of the body.

Probably not; women smoothly accumulate extra belly-fat. Chances are, your waist measurement is increasing because the rest of your body mass is increasing as well. If that is not the grip, you could have gas (perhaps you are lactose-intolerant and don't know it?) or you may be consuming too much salt, which make you hold on to extra water.

If you are concerned that it may be cancer, go to a doctor.
