Does emergency contraception lead to an untimely spell?

My period started as usual Feb. 4, finished Feb. 9th. That afternoon, I had sex, the condom broke, and took emergency contraception (unofem) Sunday, Feb. 10. Yesterday, I have sex, the condom broke again (** luck... I'm never using Durex again). Last night, I bled rather, and today a lot... close to normal extent blood. It's still ongoing, but I was wondering if this usual for unofem (aka norlevo?) and also if this means I can't take pregnant from yesterday.

Answers:    After taking the morning after pill there is the adjectives side effect of bleeding (not your regular period, merely bleeding from the surge of hormones.)

However, after that happened again, I'm not sure if they afford you another pill. You need to bid your doctor or Planned Parenthood and ask. And I would strongly suggest you get on birth control since you are sexually involved and this has happen twice! Good luck.
if it is a plan b type pill, then yes it can lead to early bleeding. that's why it works, it make your cycle start all over again. yes it does!
You hold just gone through one and the same as me Durex are far too small darn it!

Well i had a extent only 10 days after my later one due to the morning after pill.

It does state that this is normal it's solitary if you don't have one or it is more than 5 days unsettled that you should worry.

Once my time was over i did a check just to be on the secure side.

If you have taken the morning after pill and the condom splits again until that time your next time (which is nearly what happened to me but we notice it) then it won't work a second time. Get some extra significant condoms. That's what we've had to do.

Hope this help.
The morning-after pill can cause length changes and/or breakthrough bleeding (bleeding between periods) for a couple of months after use.

"Changes contained by the menstrual cycle can be expected. Some women will experience spotting a few days after taking Plan B. Because Plan B may delay ovulation, you may be at risk of pregnancy contained by the first few days after treatment. You should use an effective method of contraception for the remainder of this menstrual cycle and thereafter.

Women report that the menses may start a few days precipitate or may be delayed a few days."

Emergency contraception does not protect you from pregnancy from future act of unprotected sex. The fact that you started bleeding afterwards doesn't necessarily stingy you couldn't get pregnant, any. Taking Unofem twice in one cycle isn't recommended, though. If you want to purloin it again, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist before doing so.

Changing condom brands would be a worthy idea. I've have good luck near Lifestyles. You might also consider using a separate foam spermicide with a condom for extra protection against pregnancy. If you don't want to enjoy to worry in the order of condom breakage, ask your gynecologist about your other birth control option.

A pregnancy test is predictable to be accurate two weeks after an act of unprotected sex. Good luck.
