When do I settle on to stop taking birth control?

I started the birth control pill 3 weeks ago. I have be feeling sick to my stomach, hold had a loss of appetite, and enjoy been emotionally awfully low. I understand that these can be side effects for the first few months, but how/when do I resolve if I should stop? I don't know how much longer I can take inkling sick and depressed. Should I just stick it out for rather while?

I'm also confused if this is the reason aft my depression. I have be feeling outstandingly sad and anxious, and come across to worry deeply. Is this a definite side effect of the pill?

Answers:    I've hear you're supposed to give it two pack as a trial run, but if you're experiencing severe side effects, talk to your doctor and stop in advance.

Don't give up on the pill altogether on the other hand. Your doctor can find you one with a lower dose or different of hormones, which could be the solution.
you should verbalize to your doctor and see if they can give you a different one next to a low dosage of hormones... it is probably the hormones of the pill, you can discuss it with your OBGYN, they may enjoy another pill without the side effects you are experiencing or they may stir away.

You stop taking the pill when you are ready to. So any you want to have a kid, or you basically don't like it and are cool using other types of protection.
Talk to your doctor for reassurance. But, I denote a few months of depression and loss of appetite compared to a lifetime with an surprising kiddo...hmmm way that one out. Not that kids can ever be planned for, but still.
Depression? where on earth you depressed before or have it been since the pill? settle to your doctor and see if you can switch, sometimes it takes a few tries of different BC's to see what works best for you.
I can speak about you that my fiance stopped using the pill a little over a month ago and she say that she is feeling better than she have in a long time. She also say that she has lost immensity and actually feel happier. It could be the cause of your depression. it could be side effects of the pill but than again it might not be if you feel like this in the past you started to take the pill. If it keep up definitely turn to the doctors and tell how you've be feeling since you started taking the pill. They will any switch your Birth Control pill 2 a lower one.. or maybe own a different way to pinch the pill that wont effect you ..example needle. Either method the doctor would be able to lend a hand you and let you know =). Hope u get the impression better soon hun!!
There's a couple of things you could do. You can wait and see if the issues subside (which you've made clear you would fairly not do), or you can go see your doctor. They may coil up telling you to stick beside it, but I would consider asking for a different brand.

All the side effects you listed can come from person on the pill, due to all the hormones contained by them. I would really think nearly changing brands if you're have so many issues beside it - maybe that one is a moment ago not for you.

Good luck!
I got depressed on Depo. I took it for a year, and didn't realize that's what it be until after. If it's that bad, I would switch pills in a minute. I would ask your doc to change the brand of birth control. Some bc's hold less side effects. I also can`t stand bc, but my doc said I need the hormones (I go through early menopause at age 21).

Those side effects can also be signs of anxiety or depression.
I know years ago when I took them it be definitely a side effect. Ask you doctor for another variety and tell him of these side effects.
