Honestly, we can't tell you what it is. It could be greatly of things from an ingrown hair (although that would be a small spot), to, economically, I don't know.. Going to the doctor will be your best bet if it's really bothering you, especially if it hurts. If you want, wait a couple days and if it's still in attendance, go to the doctor. Would you know how to talk to your doctor past he/she examines you? Then you could tell him/her that you are like a cat on hot bricks and not really comfortable with mortal examined, but it really hurts. If you're worried about the doctor judge you or anything for how you look down there, don't. Doctors hold seen probably thousands of ladies down in that, to them it's just another body fragment like an ear, finger, arm, doesn`t matter what. This is a part of their work.
Or, could you talk to your mom? Ask her, or another womanly relative (or I guess older friend you touch comfortable with discussing this with) you are close next to and can comfortably talk roughly this with. And next if you have to stir to the doctor, see if she can accompany you, to lend a hand take your mind rotten things a little.

Pimple, ingrown hair, sebaceous cyst, or clogged pore most promising. Put some neosporin and a gauze pad on it. If it come to a white principal, you can drain it after a shower and keep neosporin on it for a couple of days. We adjectives get these. If it swells up really big--like more than an inch and a partly a cross, then you will involve to see the doctor about it, but if it is smaller than that afterwards you should be able to self treat it. I agree near the first person who posted an answer, if its red, and feel like there's a marble or something surrounded by one of the female orifice, its probably a "down south zit". Give it about 5 days,it should travel away, if not, be in motion to the doctor.-I had a similar experience lately..
