First Depo shot, no time. Normal? Whats your experience?
Answers: Normal for some. Most women have no period while on it. Some women have them adjectives the time. I'm one who has them adjectives the time.
very regular some have a term all the time and some enjoy none I was on Depo for 10 years and never have a period...how nice! But after so long I feel I should change methods so I go with an IUD, immediately theyre back.Damn!
*sigh* sadly, I had a horrible experience next to Depo- I had no length for about 2 cycles (which is normal) but next, for some reason- I bled for 5 months. No, I don't mean close to every month or week- EVERY day for 5 months. Not simply that, but my skin got adjectives dry and broken-outish and I was moody as hell. This is newly my experience- If you don't like the pill (which I would recommend pose with) the only piece that I would suggest is the NUVA ring. It's side affects are nothing close to the depo shot. I have have 3 other girlfriends have different, but unpromising period experiences after taking Depo and none of us will ever use it again. Sorry for the downer comment- but I hope this help! You'll gain weight, but you won't gain pregnant!
in my evaluation depo is not a good BC. i be on it for a year. bleed the whole time i be on it then when i quit it, i lost my time of year for a year and it took forever for me to get it right. but it terrified the crap out of me to. i thought i was pregnant. I've be on for almost 2 years now and I haven't gotten my time that whole time and it is awesome.
Yes. I took it for years for weakening dysmenorreah. It was a great time off. I bled through the furniture in an hour. By the closing stages of it, the shot was giving me infections, so I have a hysterectomy. Life's been great. i be on the depo shot for about a year and never gotten a interval once i decided to stop taking it i didnt own my period for another 3 months and afterwards once i got my spell it was non stop for in the region of a month! it was hell.i be never told that once you get stale depo you need to progress on another birth control just to regulate your extent again...i gained rather weight too on depo so to me i wouldnt really recommend
That is typical, just resembling bleeding for months is normal, have a regular period, or spotting at abnormal times of the month.
Depo really screws beside your body though. I'd consider other alternatives to this stuff.
