Q for those who hold have Implanon?
I have question on it if you have have it.
Does it hurt when implanted?
How long does it last?
Can you see it?
Answers: 1: When it's implanted, they will inject you near some local anaesthetic first, so you won't feel the insert being put contained by, except for some feelings of tugging. The anaesthetic plunger might hurt a little bit though.
2: The surround is effective for 3 years. You can hold it removed before after if you want, and it will stop working immediately.
3: You can't usually see the drive in once it's under your skin, but you can touch it- when you run your finger over the area it's implanted (usually your upper inner arm) it feel like a matchstick beneath the skin.
Hope this helps!
