Yes I feel when I first started it was impossible to tell apart it takes a while to seize into it you will proberly get no term pains and not much of a period but it may take a couple of months for it to turn into proper red blood, but if your still concerned be in motion see a doctor so they can reasure you. this is very regular. i had duplicate thing road back when i started, the colour will even out and turn to red eventually. although the colour you imagine you are seeing is brown it is infact very gelatinous red blood and blood can vary from colour to colour. this blood may become dark still, or even thick and sticky (this sounds gross I know, it's a girl's life)
