Should women who take partial-birth abortions enjoy to scrutinize the procedure first?

This is a question related to one I posted previously this week.
Opinion: Should they be required to watch the procedure individual performed on video, prior to an abortion? Explain why they should or should not..please.

Answers:    Who consents to a partial birth abortion?

Seriously. It's strong enough to contemplate eliminate a few cells. How could a pregnant woman utter she'd rather hang around till her baby is almost full residence and kill it fairly born?

Okay I don't doubt you that it happens "every day", what are your sources? Who does this? This is disturbing. I've never have an abortion, but know a few women who have. I also know a pre-med GYNO who escorts women former the protesters to the abortion clinic - NO partial birth abortions. Excuse my ignorance, I thought this was an dated problem.

*EDIT*
WOW Women actually choose their lives over their children? Guess I'm of late amazed every day. I'm 28 and could never interpret going thru with such a entry.

*~* sorry guess I have issues. I enjoy longed for a child since I was 16 and couldn't think this. I'm still holding out hope for a child 12 years later and counting. (yes I'm married)

..BTW your relation is from 1998 so the facts are slightly old. hope women aren't massacre their babies like that (I hope)

*EDIT #2*
Awww that's horrible! :( Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
no as at hand are a few valid reason to enjoy one, not all of them are in the region of aborting a little one. At one time I would have never agreed next to the idea of a partial but immediately, that I am more imformed, I do understand that nearby are some very apposite reason to enjoy one. If the procedure is legal, no.
Sweetz, most women consent to partial birth abortions because their energy is in hazard, and the only agency to prevent their own death is to consent to a partial birth abortion.

I would enjoy to say no. Most of the time, partial birth abortions are done on a exceedingly strict time schedule surrounded by order to rescue the mother's life, so nearby probably wouldn't be much time for the mother to watch a video.

If in attendance are no health risks involved for the mother, I deliberate she should be informed of what the procedure entails, as capably as the risks and possible complications. I believe this should be the case for any medical procedure. I do not necessarily believe that a woman should be required to study a video of a procedure to have it done. I did not hold to watch a video of a Cesarean birth surrounded by order to enjoy mine.

**Sweetz, we're talking almost cases where any the mother dies or the mother and the baby both die. It make no sense for both to die when one can live. It's not about choosing their energy over their baby's - it's about abiding their own life. The newborn would most likely die any way.

We could be discussion about a woman who already have two or three children. Should she leave those children motherless? It would be a self-centred decision to influence that she should die, as well as her unborn babe, than to choose to terminate the pregnancy and live to purloin care of the children she already have. Those are the cases that I'm talking going on for.

Just because one doctor says that 80% of their partial birth abortions are preformed on on top form mothers and babies doesn't mean that adjectives cases are like that. Some doctors own higher Cesarean rates than others. Doctors change widely. Nationwide, partial birth abortions are largely illegal unless within is a clear medical indication. Most of the time, in states that don't allow them, the babe-in-arms is delivered alive and given proper neonatal attention.

Do not skew my words to mean that I'm within favor of partial birth abortion. I am not, but I do believe that there are cases where on earth it may be the only path to save the mother's enthusiasm. In those cases, the fetus would not be considered viable and the pregnancy would be terminated, as opposed to deliver the fetus alive and sending it to the NICU. There is a certain gestational fetal age wherein the fetus is considered viable, and thus the doctor would recommend a premature nativity and not a termination. Before this point, a termination would be recommended if the mother's life be in vulnerability.
If I am not mistaken, 3rd term abortions are wrong in the US. I ponder Birth control needs to be 100% successful and made readily available as okay as the morning after pill so women don't need to enjoy abortions. If you are going to have an abortion, you shouldn't linger till the 3rd trimester and if possible you shouldn't own it at all. I conjecture they should be informed of what exactly is going to happen, the risks of the procedure, that the newborn can feel, and how far along surrounded by development the little one.
