How scratchy is it to put surrounded by an IUD?
I'm 21, no children.
Answers: I enjoy the Mirena IUD and it was individual marginally uncomfortable. I be instructed to make an appointment as soon as my interval began because the cervix become a bit softer during that time and thus makes it easier to insert the IUD. They do enjoy to push a tube past your cervix and that can be self-conscious (lots of "pressure", I'm sure that's how they'll warn you) but it wasn't excruciating or anything approaching that.
Trust me, you'll love having an IUD. Easiest birth control surrounded by the world. Virtually no side effects and you NEVER feel it. Plus it's pretty much THE most decisive kind of b.c. out at hand.
By the way, it's true, I did own some cramping for a few days after it was inserted, but it be manageable near over the counter pain meds and it stopped really summarily.
Not bad! Afterward you enjoy cramping tho or at least my friend and I both did. It's powerfully worth it I think. I would own it done in the subsequently afternoon that way you can run home and try to relax and take some sort of backache medicine proble! i've never have one myself.
but i've heard so plentiful things about them getting infected.
my sister have one when she was around 18 or 19 and she have it for 2 or 3 months and had to enjoy it removed b/c of infection
I have Mirena IUD inserted within October and was instructed to set an appointment as soon as my term began. I did so and it be painful for going on for a minute as she dilated my cervix. Then it was over. There be some cramping after wards and alot of spotting. There is still some spotting and totally light cramps. But it have worked out very all right for me for a birth control method. The only piece that bothers me is the irregular spotting.
