Birth control, endometriosis and continuous breakthrough bleeding - backing pls?
I started taking my birth control pills (monophasic type) continuous as my ob/gyn recommended and it adjectives went capably for the first couple of months, however I then started to own breakthrough bleeding on 25 January it continued for 13 days then stopped for 3 days and afterwards started again on 10 February and I'm still experiencing the breakthrough bleeding. It's not heavy, although it's thoroughly very annoying, I have this when I very first started my birth control pills and my doctor advise that it was conventional during the first few months, however it stopped, but why now after person on this pills for nearly 8 months is it doing this? I haven't seen my doctor on the other hand - I thought I'd just linger it out and hopefully it will pass but it hasn't and I be wondering what could be the cause and whether anyone else have experienced this?
Answers: This kind of breakthrough bleeding can come to pass because the amount of estrogen in the demanding brand (such as Mircette or Alesse) may be too low for the body to handle. I've run within to this problem multiple times while trying to find a pill to take continuously for my endometriosis.
I would recommend calling the OB/GYN bureau again on Tues (in case they are closed for the holiday today) to consent to them know that it's very big that you speak to your doctor about a bleeding issue you are have now. If the nurse answers permit her know that you really need to speak to the doctor about this issue.
