Taking the contraceptive pill..?
Answers: Depends. It's 99.9% if you take it properly.
But beside condoms it would be bumping it up a notch. Never 100% but perchance 99.999999%.
So it depends whether you're willing to run the 0.1% risk or you want to minimise that still further. Also if you're willing to purloin the risk of STDs if somebody cheats. (Of course, that's assuming they cheat without a condom, and next to an infected person, and capture infected.)
For most women, the chance is appropriate enough that it's worth taking both the small pregnancy risk and the small cheating risk for the benefits of not using condoms. But it's up to you.
Just build sure you really do take the pill properly. Read the information that comes beside your brand, or google your brand name for information, and revise everything about what to do if you lug it late, how delayed you can be, what happens if you miss one, vomit, hold diarrhoea, take other medication, etc. so that you know to abstain or use condoms if something go wrong.
Every little helps...
I aim the more precautions the better ;) Me and my boyfriend dont see the need surrounded by using condoms anymore as we have be together 4 years and plan to be together for the rest of our lives, hes the only creature i have slept near and he has slept next to one other person but he used a condom so i know im safe and sound.
We're that happy together that it doesnt even verbs us anymore if we did have an catastrophe and miss a couple of pills as we do plan to have children surrounded by the near adjectives...
if you really want to be safe later use a condom to keep your mind at help i remember at first my boyfriend used to worry everymonth if i have some nausia or anything!
We've had a few alarmed but nothing we couldnt cope next to!
You should be protected, the information leaflet surrounded by the packet will explain how long after starting it(usually up to a month) you will need protection after that you can own intercourse with condoms, if contained by doubt see your family planning clinic If you are taking it correctly, both monogamous and free of STDs next your only risk is pregnancy which is give or take a few a 1% chance per year, most women bright and breezy at that level of risk. Not sure what adding up a condom to this would do in expressions of reducing the risk of pregnancy further. Obviously good for STDs but if adjectives is as you say in that is no risk there.
You don't obligation condoms, it's just correct for people who are slack at taking their pill to enjoy a backup such as condoms. Just be aware that if you accidentally miss a pill that you use condoms again for the next 7 days while taking the pills so that you will be protected for pregnancy. Or if you vomit, or own diareah within 3 hours of taking the pill, any take another pill, or follow the 7 sunshine rule. ANd if you go on to antibiotics consequently be aware that you will need to use condoms while you are taking the antibiotics and for 2 weeks afterward. I enjoy been relying solely on the pill for 2 years, in that is no problem with this. yeah fluently they say it should be immensely effective if taken correctly. But I've chosen to use condoms, because I numeral if the condomn breaks then I know theres a opening I can get pregnant and I can rob other actions similar to emergency contraceptive, or test as soon as possible, but near birth control, you might never really know until you get close to symptoms of pregnancy, and thats too risky for me.
