Answers: Yes, it take a few months for depo to regulate the hormones in your system. your doctor should own informed you of that. as for the missed period, yes depo can exact that. I too am on depo and do not have a interval.

It takes a month for hormonal contraceptives to work and a month for them to exit the system...supposedly. You could be. If you seriously want to be a mom then DON'T capture your next depo shot and go and get on REGULAR birth control pills. Depo shot REALLY messes up your body.
