Do you know someone who have a little one?
but had their tubes tied? How adjectives is this?
Answers: Yes, I actually did know and work beside a woman who had tubal ligation done and go on later to hold a baby. In her suitcase, it turned out the doctor who did the procedure didn't do anything except cut the fallopian tubes. They were not cauterized or clipped. It be still against the odds, but on one side the tube edges did survive to reconnect enough and lacking sufficient scarring to allow her to get pregnant. It have happened on the irregular occasion otherwise, and sadly in most cases the pregnancy's are tubal and hold to be surgically removed. Most doctors now days cauterize and clip the cut ends next to stainless steel clips though, so it's much less possible to happen. I find it an excellent arguement for have the fellow do a vasectomy though. It's really easy to determine if that's a sucess, because it's easier to look for sperm. It's pretty involved surgery to see if fallopian tubes are intact.
