Womb tatty?

My mum is 68 and has have a perid for the last year...she have a scan last wk and they said that her womb is scantily damaged..she have to see the specialist.what might they suggest?

Answers:    I'll be as tactful as possible.

your mother have not been have a period for the closing year - she most likely go through the menopause several years ago, what she has / have was internal bleeding next to a variety of cause. Likely medical proceedure will be a hystorectomy & the usual biopsy for anything 'serious'.
Usually either a full or partial hysterectomy. I would assume they will suggest she has a hysterectomy. I'm not a medical expert but if her womb is disappointingly damaged it would appear to be the logical answer.

I hope she is feeling better soon xx
