Answers: You should really make an appt beside a Gyn. Endometriosis is nothing to slight. Your symptoms alone should be a cause of concern for oodles reasons.
It doesn't HAVE to be endo. It could simply be a painful time of year. Also, is this half sister from your mom or dad? Typically, time of year stuff--comes down from grandma, mom, to you. So, your best source is your mom, her sisters, her mom. If she's had rough periods--and no endo--chances are you will follow in her shoes. But, if you enjoy not been to the Gyne even so, you should schedule an appt, it's that time anyhow. A suitable Dr will get you on the right course. It lately could be period affliction and not much more. The gyne might put you on birth control pills to regulate your periods and the torment will not be as bad. Good luck! It doesn't thing what side of the family she is on; Endo can be passed on through the inheritance of either parent.
Secondly - your symptoms are without a doubt worth further investigation and are indicative of something more significant than "simple killer cramps."
Endo is not a release sentence and it can be managed successfully WITH THE RIGHT HELP of a doctor who truly understand (not an idiot who will put you on suppressive drug therapy forever).
