If you are borderline and you have these symptoms gross your Dr give you medication. Have your thyroid, TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), and thyroid antibodies checked. That's how you'll find out what's wrong, and treatment depends on that. If your TSH is elevated and your thyroid is low, that's one problem. Also, if you have soaring antibodies, it doesn't matter how much thyroid your body puts out, the antibodies will verbs it. Taking thyroid replaces the missing hormone but does not help your thyroid gland work properly. Your thyroid wishes iodine in demand to function properly. If you don't get satisfactory iodine in your diet, your thyroid can't function.
Low thyroid runs contained by my family. Mine have run low in the recent past, but tests middle-of-the-road now; however, I hold low energy. When I have to take an iodine pill for some carrying out tests I was have done, I noticed that it perked me right up and suddenly I have energy. Since I don't munch through a lot of brackish, I figured that I might necessitate some iodine on a regular basis. I filch kelp (seaweed which has iodine; start near 250 mg per day and do not thieve more than 1000 mg per day), L-tyrosine (a hormone that helps your thyroid function, one tablet per day), and 600 mg per afternoon of alpha-lipoic acid (doesn't own anything to do with thyroid, as far as I know; some doctors recommend 900 mg per time for low energy). If I take more than 500 mg of kelp a time, it tends to hold on to me up at night. I hope some of this help you. E-mail me if you'd like, put Yahoo board thyroid surrounded by the subject line.
You own many of the symptoms of hypothyroidism.
A little bit hypothyroid is similar to being for a time bit pregnant. There are changes going on in your body that could lead to heart problems, etc. If you are having symptoms and are carrying out tests even a little bit hypothyroid, please achieve treatment. A TSH over 2.0 is causing incapacitate in the body. Unfotunately most doctors won't treat until its over 5.0, even though AACe changed the collection to 0.3 to 3.0 a few years ago. One thing more or less TSH, it changes throughout the year, so you need to interview firs thing contained by the morning only.
I will put a few TSH related links below. Better test ae the free t4 and free t3 however the TSH is the standard test even though in that are problems with it.
