Birth control?

My boyfriend and I have be together for 5 1/2 years...The first year and a half i wasnt on BC...and we have a great love life...and since i've be on BC it's decreased significantly. My dr. said it could be a side effect...What do you women contemplate? I think I might draw from off of it to product things better...We've got a great relationship besides that...ha...

Answers:    I reflect on you should continue to use birth control, but you should probably switch to a barricade method rather than a hormonal one. You could look into the cervical boater, diaphragm, or a newer barrier method call Lea's Shield.

Or you could simply try a different formulation. With literally DOZENS of pills on the market, you're feasible to find one that doesn't effect your libido so badly.
I watch a segment on the pill affecting libido on Comcast on Demand (they have a total section about sex topics). Anyways, they suggested trying different formulations of pills, but for some even that hasn't helped their libido. I'd ask your doctor give or take a few trying a different formulation...and hopefully you'll have a difficult libido afterwards!
