Has anyone else have a mirena coil fitted?
Answers: Hi, I had the Mirena Coil fitted finishing August, because I have Fibroids, Endometriosis and exceptionally heavy bleeding, the first two months be the same, next I had a miracle of a rescue, I feel sooo angelic now, I would recommend it to anyone who have gynae problems, good luck !
they can peroxide your periods or they stop altogether I haven't have a period surrounded by the 5 years I've had mine fitted. I be so heavy I couldn't turn out during the first two days. you still get the cramps and sore boobs though
I enjoy had one fitted for over 3 years immediately and my periods are extremely restrained or some months I don't have one. I be told this would most likely arise after I had it fitted. Mine are a tad irregular very soon but its great not having to verbs about leakage etc. not personally but own heard they're polite and don't think you enjoy periods at adjectives with them...

For the first 6 months it made my period even heavier (I had thought this impossible, seeing as I be already having to money my super-plus tampon every hour!!) which apparently is because the body senses a foreign object and tries to flush it out however, after that they started to go and get lighter and lighter.
I had it fitted almost 3 years ago and have not really have a period for the ultimate 2 years, which is wonderful, considering the excruciating agony I was experiencing for in the region of 6 days every month!
At first I was resembling "I don't know if I want a hormone releasing object inside my body" but the throbbing soon made me realise it would be worth it. It has literally changed my existence, I am no longer crippled with discomfort or, practically haemorrhaging.

I own found mine brilliant. I've had it for 7 years and enjoy no period's at all. It be a bit strange at first ( I did a lot of pregnancy test) but presently I wouldn't use any thing else. Was a bit mortified having it put within and changed (every 5 years) but no worse than mild cramps Hiya Cherries

Most definately, although I do have problems next to bleeding on most days now it is minimal and a great deal better than what I had to put up near go for it. i enjoy had my mirena coil for basically over a year now and i dont enjoy periods anymore. i grasp the odd few days of misty brown bood which is old blood but thats it! the single thing i achieve is discharge. it makes some womans period stop all together, some may merely be lighter, the same or heavier?
