Answers: Yeast is a fungus referred to as Candida.
Vaginal yeast infections occur when up to date yeast is introduced into the vaginal area, or when nearby is an increase in the size of yeast already present in the vagina relative to the number of normal germs.
Other conditions that may predispose women to developing vaginal yeast infections include antibiotics, diabetes mellitus, pregnancy, and taking oral contraceptives. The use of douches or perfumed vaginal hygiene sprays may also increase a woman's risk of developing a vaginal yeast infection.

Itching, burning, stinky discharge. No, this has nought to do with pregnancy or menstural cycles.
symptoms include itching and burning (down there) and some discharge. it won't effect any disturbances in term or pregnancy. It's just an overgrowth of fungus. it is mostly itching. and sometimes burning. it doesnt hurt your menstral cycle or pregnancy
The vagina contains both beneficial and unwholesome bacteria. The beneficial germs keeps the other germs in check most of the time. Sex, too much sugar and white starches, antibiotics etc can create an inequity where the fruitless bacteria outnumber the biddable bacteria and give somebody a lift over.
The bad microbes multiplies and creates a heavy cottage cheese type of discharge and feel itchy and miserable. The vagina gets red, swollen.
You can append probiotics & plain yogurt to your diet to help avoid yeast overgrowth.

Normally, all the microbes and yeast are in set off and keep respectively other at bay from becoming too tons in number. If here is a disruption in this be a foil for (stress, weakened immune system, poor diet, one on antibiotics etc) then one of the organisms increases contained by number beyond the balance and voila- you hold an infection.
