What do doctors audition for when drawing blood?

Someone said since I have sweet periods that I can enjoy a hormonal imbalance (I am 14). I be just wondering what doctors look for when they draw blood at an annual physical?

I am not going to make clear to them about my period. They are heavy, but managable, so why make a big agreement about it? I basically wanted to know if that would show up if something be wrong.

Thanks =-D

Answers:    lots of people hold heavy period and most of them are normal. if yours are managable, you are probably a moment ago fine. it's true that some people enjoy hormonal imbalances and blood test can check for those, but those are people next to crazy long period (like months long) or those who in recent times don't seem to hit puberty at adjectives...
They don't usually draw blood at physicals. Blood tests can test for just nearly anything. Usually you have a CBC and some other ones. They interview your vitamin levels to see if you're defective. Sometimes blood tests can be used to see if your body's chemicals are floating. Since you're 14 your periods are probably in recent times heavy right presently. If your that concerned the doctor can prescribe a low dose of birth control that will make them really short and street light. Since they're heavy you're at risk for iron lesser amount anemia. It would be good to still ask to enjoy the blood work to see if there's anything else that might be causing it. The test run will probably be a Complete Blood Count (CBC) and a Basic Metabolic Profile (BMP). These tests are pretty generalized and can look for problems similar to bacterial infections, anemia, leukopenia, or certain metabolic disorders. Other test can be ordered if the doctor suspects something specific - for example, he may order liver enzyme test if he believes there may be a problem next to your liver, or a urinalysis if there may be a kidney or urinary tract problem.

However, in need telling the doctor in the order of specific symptoms you are having, he can't hold any idea what test to order to see if here is a problem. It's like taking your motor to the mechanic and asking him to fix it without unfolding him what problems you experience when driving.
