People are SO different in their counterattack to drugs. Birth control pills can upset the hormone balance and thus cause yeast infections to be more potential. Itchiness there could be a yeast imbalance. Try some topical miconazole vulvar cream (monistat cream) for external use. If it works - consequently you HAD a yeast problem. Skin often has problems related to the season (winter/dry weather make happen some) and summer is conducive to others. Skin maintains an equilibrium in the flora that lives on it. If the miconazole doesn't work afterwards it's probably the other factor in "balance" and try skin cream for fungus problems. Often when a dermatologist gives a cream for one (yeast/fungal); s/he also give a cream for the other to regain the balance. Never heard of that, usually the side effects are irregular menstrual bleeding, nausea, shipment gain/water retention.headaches.dizziness,and breast tenderness, mood change, blood clots, darkening spots on the skin.
